Shrimp Caesar Salad Recipe

Shrimp Caesar Salad Recipe - 6 servings


2 large heads romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces juice of 1/2 lemon

1/3 cups olive oil

2 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

2 cloves garlic

1 coddled egg

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

6 anchovy fillets, finely chopped

3/4 cup unseasoned croutons

1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 cups small cooked shrimp


Arrange romaine in a large salad bowl. Drizzle with lemon juice. Add olive oil, vinegar, coddled egg, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce, toss. Add anchovies and croutons, toss again. Sprinkle with Parmesan and toss lightly again. Divide salad among individual salad plates. Top with shrimp.
