Seafood Salad Recipe

Seafood Salad Recipe - 6 servings



2/3 cup safflower mayonnaise

5 garlic cloves, finely minced

2 tablespoons lemon juice, plus 1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon white pepper

1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

3/4 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons fresh dill

2 tablespoons grated white onion



12 cups shredded lettuce

1/2 cup finely chopped green onion

1 cup chopped celery

1/2 pound cooked crabmeat

3/4 pound cooked shrimp meat

2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges


In a jar with cover, combine dressing ingredients. Chill at least 1 hour. Toss lettuce, onion and celery with 1/4 cup of the dressing. Add crab and shrimp. Toss. Garnish with tomato wedges. Divide salad among chilled salad plates. Pass the remaining dressing.
