Grilled Corn in Husks Recipe - 6 servings


1 dozen ears corn,

in their husks


Remove outside husks, leaving light green inner husks. Reserve some of the outer husks. Remove and discard silk. Lay inner husks back in place around corn. Tear several reserved outer husks into 1/4-inch strips and tie around tops of corn to secure. Soak corn in a pan of cold water to cover for 30 minutes. Drain. Grill 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.


Note : If you have a low fire and place corn away from the flame, you can omit the soaking step. This, of course, will increase the cooking time.
