Green Beans with Lemon Recipe

Green Beans with Lemon Recipe - 4 servings

Ingredients:

1 pound fresh green beans

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon or less salt

Method:

Wash beans, remove ends and strings. In a covered vegetable steamer basket over boiling water, steam beans 5-15 minutes (depending on freshness of beans), or until just tender (do not overcook). Combine lemon juice, black pepper and salt, and pour over beans while beans are still hot.
