Farmer's Market Salad Recipe - 1 serving


2 leaves red leaf lettuce

2 leaves green leaf lettuce

1 broccoli floret, steamed

1 cauliflower floret, steamed

1 large carrot, grated

1 medium ripe tomato, diced

2 very thin raw turnips slices

3 very thin red onion rings

1/2 cup tomato salsa


Layer lettuce leaves on a chilled dinner plate. Arrange the remaining vegetables on the lettuce. Accompany with tomato salsa.
