Three-Bean Soup Recipe

Three-Bean Soup Recipe - 3 quarts

Ingredients:

28-ounce can plum tomatoes, diced

1 tablespoon chili powder

1/8 teaspoon ground cumin

1/8 teaspoon cayenne

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

2 15-ounce cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

15-ounce can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed

15-ounce cans black beans, drained and rinsed

Method:

In a 3-quart saucepan, combine tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, paprika, salt and pepper. Heat just to boiling, but do not allow to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Add cannellini, garbanzos, and black beans. Heat to serving temperature.
