Fresh Berry Pie Recipe

Fresh Berry Pie Recipe - 8 servings


2 easy pastry crusts, unbaked

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

4 cups fresh raspberries, strawberries or blackberries

1 teaspoon lime juice


Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry. Mix together flour, sugar and salt; sprinkle 1/4 of the mixture of uncooked bottom crust. Coat berries with lemon juice and toss with remaining sugar mixture. Spoon into pie plate. Adjust top crust, flute edges and prick. Bake at 450oF 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350oF and continue baking 25-30 minutes.
