Berry Bavarian Recipe - 10 servings


1 cup skim evaporated milk

2 3-ounce packages cherry gelatin dessert mix

1 1/3 cup boiling water

2 cups thinly sliced fresh strawberries


Into a mixing bowl, pour evaporated milk. Chill in freezer until ice crystals form around edges, about 1 1/2 hours (Chill beater blades also). Dissolve gelatin mix in boiling water. Chill until syrupy, about 1 hour. Beat chilled milk on high speed 5-8 minutes or until it is the consistency of whipped cream. Gently fold gelatin and sliced berries into whipped milk. Pour into stemmed glasses. Garnish with additional berries, if desired.
