Poached Chicken Recipe

Poached Chicken Recipe - 4 servings


4 cups chicken stock

2 whole chicken breasts, skinned, boned and halved


In a saucepan, bring stock to a boil, add chicken breasts and bring t a second boil. Reduce heat to medium, cook 20 minutes, or until chicken is done. Remove chicken and reserve stock for later use. If chicken is to be used for sandwiches, cool 10 minutes and tear into strings or slice diagonally across top.
