Marinated Grilled Steak Recipe

Marinated Grilled Steak Recipe - 8 servings


1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce

1/2 cup vermouth

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 fresh gingerroot, peeled and sliced

2 pounds top round or eye of round steak


In a bowl, combine soy sauce, vermouth, olive oil, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and gingerroot. Pour marinade over meat and marinate in the refrigerator 3-24 hours. Thoroughly drain off marinade. Prepare coals and cover the grill with foil. Grill over hot coals about 6 minutes on each side or to desired doneness.
