Grilled Teriyaki Steak Recipe

Grilled Teriyaki Steak Recipe - 6 servings


1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce

1/2 cup dry vermouth

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 1-inch piece of fresh gingerroot, peeled and minced

1 1/2 pounds flank steak, all visible fat removed


In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, vermouth, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and gingerroot. Arrange flank steak in a shallow glass casserole dish suitable for marinating, pour sauce over top. Cover with plastic wrap. Marinate in refrigerator 1-24 hours. Drain marinade. Grill flank steak over hot coals for 6-8 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness. Remove to a cutting board. Cut beef across grain at a diagonal angle into thin slices.
