Sea Bass with Shrimp Recipe

Sea Bass with Shrimp Recipe - 5 servings


1 pound sea bass steaks

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 medium ripe tomatoes, diced

1 8-ounce can mushroom stems and pieces, drained

3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

1/2 pound cooked shrimp meat

1/4 bunch fresh parsley

1 lemon, cut into wedges

2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges


In a shallow baking pan, arrange sea bass in a single layer. Brush with 1 teaspoon of the olive oil. Combine remaining olive oil, diced tomatoes, mushrooms and garlic, and pour over sea bass. Bake, uncovered, at 400oF. 10 minutes per inch of thickness of fish. Three to four minutes before fish is cooked, sprinkle shrimp over top. When sea bass turns white and flakes readily when touched with a fork, remove to a platter lined with parsley. Garnish with lemon and tomato wedges.
