Grilled Fresh Tuna Recipe

Grilled Fresh Tuna Recipe - 4 servings


1 pound tuna fillets

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 large clover garlic, halved

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Arrange tuna in a shallow baking dish. Brush both sides with olive oil. Rub with cut garlic, sprinkle with black pepper. Let stand 1 hour. Prepare coals. Cover the grill grid with foil. Grill tuna over hot coals 3-4 minutes on each side, or just until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.


Fish oil, rich in cholesterol-lowering Omega 3's, provides almost all the fat in this recipe. For this reason, don't be concerned with the relatively high fat content.
