Teriyaki Salmon Recipe

Teriyaki Salmon Recipe - 4 servings


3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce

1/2 cup sake

1 teaspoon sugar

2 teaspoons olive oil

1 pound salmon fillets

2 bunches fresh spinach, washed

1 lemon, cut into wedges


In a bowl or covered jar, combine soy sauce, sake, sugar and olive oil. Pour over salmon and marinate at room temperature 30 minutes, basting frequently. Drain off marinade. Prepare coals. Cover the grid grill with foil. Grill salmon skin side up, over hot coals 5-6 minutes. Turn and cook 2-3 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork. Place on a bed of spinach. Garnish with lemon.
