Marinara Sauce Recipe

Marinara Sauce Recipe - 4 1/4 cups


28-ounce can plum tomatoes, diced

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon cider vinegar


In a medium saucepan, combine tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil and black pepper. Simmer 20 minutes (do not allow to boil). Stir in olive oil and vinegar. Simmer 10 minutes.
