Taco Pizza Recipe - 8 servingsIngredients: 1 white onion, chopped 1 pound extra-lean ground round 1 tablespoon chili powder 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup commercial or homemade tomato salsa 1/3 cup Red Bean Dip 1 easy Pizza Crust 2 medium tomatoes, diced 1 1/2 cups lettuce, shredded 1/2 cup grated low-fat Cheddar cheese |
Method: In a nonstick skillet, saute onion and ground round. Season with chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, black pepper, paprika and salt. Add salsa and toss. Spread Red Bean Dip over cooked pizza crust. Top with ground round mixture. Arrange diced tomatoes over top. Cover with lettuce and sprinkle with cheese. Place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes or just until cheese begins to melt. |
