Sesame Waffles Recipe

Sesame Waffles Recipe - 5 large waffles


1 cup unbleached flour

1 cup whole-wheat flour

1 cup instant non-fat milk

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

2 eggs, slightly beaten

2 tablespoons olive oil or canola oil

2 cups water

3/4 cup sesame seeds

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


In a large mixing bowl, combine flours, instants non-fat milk, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a small mixing bowl, combine eggs, olive oil and water. Make a well in the flour mixture, add egg mixture and blend. Fold in sesame seeds and vanilla extract. Pour 2/3 cup of mix into a waffle iron and bake 3 minutes.
