Roasted Garlic Bread Recipe

Roasted Garlic Bread Recipe - 1 loaf

Ingredients:

1 head garlic, cloves separated but not peeled

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

12-inch French baguette

Method:

Arrange garlic in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch ovenproof baking dish. Add olive oil, salt and pepper. Bake at 350oF 30-40 minutes or until garlic is soft. Release garlic from peels right into the baking dish. Stir cooked garlic into the oil, salt and pepper.

 

Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. Rub each half with garlic oil. Place under the broiler 2-3 minutes or until lightly toasted. Delicious!
