Monte Cristo Sandwich Recipe

Monte Cristo Sandwich Recipe - 3 sandwiches


6 1/8-ounce can water-packed tuna, drained

1/4 cup fat-free or light mayonnaise

6 slices whole-wheat bread

1/4 cup egg substitute, beaten


Moisten tuna with mayonnaise. Dip 1 slice of bread into beaten egg, place on a preheated nonstick griddle. Spread with tuna, Dip second slice of bread into beaten egg, place over tuna. Brown sandwiches on both sides, turning only once. Cut sandwich in half and serve.
