Cheese Bread Recipe - 2 loavesIngredients: 2 packages active dry yeast 2 cups warm water 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon salt 1/4 cup safflower oil 6 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup whole-wheat flour 3/4 cup grated, reduced-fat Cheddar cheese |
Method: Dissolve yeast in water, add sugar, salt, oil and 3 cups of the flour. Mix. Add remaining flour, knead into a soft dough, about 5 minutes. Divide bread into two loaves, knead one half of the cheese into each loaf. Shape into round loaves, flatten slightly. Bake on a nonstick baking sheet or in individual loaf pans at 375oF for 30-35 minutes. |
