Wild and White Rice Recipe

Wild and White Rice Recipe - 7 cups

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups wild rice

1 cup beef consomme

1 cup short-grain white rice

Method:

Steam wild rice according to package directions, substituting 1 cup beef consommé for 1 of the cups of water.  Allow 45-60 minutes cooking time. In a separate pan, steam short-grain rice according to package directions. Allow 20-30 minutes cooking time. Combine both cooked rice in a bowl and toss to make a colorful accompaniment.
