Sticky Rice Recipe - 4 servingsIngredients: 1 cup short-grain rice 1 1/2 cups water |
Method: Pour rice into a 2-quart saucepan. Cover with cold water, stir and drain, repeat 2-3 times until water runs clear. Return drained rice to saucepan and add 1 1/2 cups cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is nearly absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5-10 minutes. Uncover, fluff with a fork. |
