Layered Shrimp Dip Recipe - 10 servings


8-ounce container tub-style nonfat cream cheese

1/3 cup cocktail sauce

1/2 pound small cooked shrimp or crabmeat

6 carrots, peeled and cut diagonally into thirds

6 celery stalks, cut diagonally into thirds

7-ounce package oil-free baked, not fried, tortilla chips.


Spread cream cheese in centre of a 10-inch serving tray, keeping the edges neat and uniform. Use the back of a serving spoon to smooth out the surface. Pour the cocktail sauce over the cream cheese and spread it evenly. Sprinkle shrimp or crabmeat over top. Chill until ready to serve. Ring with celery and carrot sticks and/or oil-free baked, not fried, tortilla chips to scoop up the dip.
